Danielle's
three priority issues are increasing
state aid to cities and towns,
specifically Chapter 70 Education
funding and a re-examination of the
Chapter 70 formula, economic development
and sustainability, and transportation
challenges facing our district.

Fostering
Economic Development in the MetroWest Region
We must continue to expand our area's economy through the creation of incentives that will encourage small and medium size businesses to grow and add jobs. As our State Representative, Danielle will work to continue investing in the fields like renewable energy and life sciences that create good, sustainable jobs to keep our hard working residents employed.
By growing our corporate tax base, we can increase state and local revenues and reduce the burden on residential rate payers. Our district is uniquely situated, from both a location and and infrastructure point of view to employ thousands of Massachusetts residents and attract new companies and residents to our state. By attracting new business and encouraging existing companies to expand here, we will increase overall tax revenues and those
additional funds can be used to support vital state programs.

Increasing
Local Aid
Our cities and towns deserve their fare share of this Commonwealth's tax dollars. As our State Representative, Danielle will work to cut costs through the elimination of government waste and duplicative programs. As an example, Danielle supports efforts of state leaders to merge the Mass Turnpike authority with the Mass Highway Department, with any plan to do so providing toll relief for MetroWest commuters. By streamlining government services, more money can be sent back to our communities for education funding, road and bridge repair and transportation infrastructure improvements.

Addressing Our
Area's Transportation Challenges
The residents of MetroWest and beyond have been paying tolls that support projects in and around Boston. As our State Representative, Danielle will continue to work with the MetroWest Delegation on toll equity and improving commuter rail service to our region. The newly created MetroWest Regional Transit Authority has provided new vehicles, and increased our fixed route service and ride-on-demand service, giving more people the tools they need to get to work, saving them money and helping preserve our environment for future generations. With burgeoning development in the 495 corridor, we need to seriously re-consider the structure of the interchanges at 290, route 9 and 495, and Danielle will continue to support study efforts and advocate for funding for future projects.
