Editorial: Gregoire in Marlborough
In the
MetroWest Daily News
Youth is no barrier to representing Marlborough on Beacon Hill. Rep. Stephen LeDuc was 28 when he was first elected in 1996. Now that LeDuc has left the House to take a district court position, two Democrats in their 20s are vying to succeed him.
Danielle Gregoire, 29, was LeDuc's top aide, and has dutifully filled in for him since his resignation this spring. She has been a staffer on Beacon Hill for five years, establishing relationships, learning the details of the legislative process and handling constituent services. Along the way, she managed to earn a law degree and be admitted to the bar.

We also had a few supporters in attendance to show our opponents just how much hard work we've been doing. With a successful young professionals event behind us and Hanna well out of our way, we are charging full steam ahead to next Tuesday.
